FamilyAlbum prints are printed on high-quality Fujicolor printing paper.
Details regarding the change in paper for photo prints (starting July 13, 2026)
Due to a change in Fujifilm's photo printing paper lineup, the paper used for FamilyAlbum prints will be replaced by a new paper, which will be used for FamilyAlbum prints going forward.
Date of Change
8:00 AM (PDT) on July 13
Orders placed after the above time will be printed on the new paper.
Affected Products
All photo prints available on the FamilyAlbum app
• Paper type: Glossy, Matte
• Size: Rectangle / Square / Retro
Note:
- Print orders will be printed on either old or new paper, not a mix of both.
- All orders placed after the date of change will be printed on the new paper.
- If you reorder photo prints that were ordered before the change and we receive the order after the date of change, the new paper will be used.
- There will be no price change as a result of the change in paper.
About the New Paper
Changes to All Prints:
• The new paper is thicker and sturdier.
• The logo on the back of prints will be gold. (Previously silver)
Glossy Prints Only:
• Texture/Gloss: Same as previous paper
Matte Prints Only:
• Texture: Slightly more glossy than before, with more vivid colors and details
• Low-glare with a refined finish, similar to the previous paper
About the Finished Product
There may be differences in color and appearance due to the change in paper. The finished product may also vary depending on the subject and the environment (e.g., lighting).
