If you aren't receiving push notifications, please check the following:
On the FamilyAlbum App
Open the Settings tab and tap "Notification Settings". Please double-check to make sure both "Comment notification" and "Photos/videos updated" are set to ON.
On Your Device
For iPhone users:
1. Open Settings, tap "Notifications", then tap "FamilyAlbum". Please double-check that "Allow Notifications" is set to ON.
2. Open Settings, tap "Do Not Disturb", then check to make sure that "Do Not Disturb" mode is turned off.
For Android users:
1. Open Settings, tap "Notifications", then tap "FamilyAlbum". Please double-check that "Show Notifications" is set to ON. There may be more specific settings depending on your OS version.
2. Open Settings, tap "Battery", then check to make sure that "Battery Saver" is turned off.
*This process may differ depending on your device.
There are also a few instances where push notifications may be delayed or cancelled. If multiple photos and videos are uploaded within 5 minutes of each other, you'll only receive one notification. For this reason, it may take up to 10 minutes for you to receive a notification. If you view a post in Recents before receiving a notification, no notification will be sent for this post.
If you're still not receiving push notifications, please contact us by going to the Settings tab, tapping “Inquiries”, then “Other”, then tapping the “Inquiries” button.
