Photos/videos uploaded to your album are not linked to the original photo/video on your device.
Because of this, deleting the photo/video from your device will not affect the photo/video uploaded to your album.
However, if your photo/video was not uploaded successfully, you’ll need to upload it again.
Before deleting the photo/video from your device, please check to see if your photo/video was successfully uploaded by going to the Recents tab, tapping on the photo/video, and making sure you can view it.
If you are worried about your photos/videos, please consider trying saving your photos/videos to one of the following backup options:
- A cloud storage service such as iCloud or Google Photos
- An external storage device
